🐾💙 MEET RIGGS AND MURTAUGH 💙🐾

Hi there, I'm Riggs and this is my bro Murtaugh. Like our Lethal Weapon namesakes, we have very different personalities but we have been through thick and thin together. Now we are looking for a lovely forever home to call our own!

Nature
While we are still getting used to house life, having previously lived as colony cats, we have decided to embrace the comforts of home living. I love to get pats, and will run to my bed or my safe place for them, purring loudly and rolling over for tummy rubs. Like Murtaugh’s namesake, he has a bit of a gruff exterior, but once he's comfortable you'll find out what a big softy he is underneath. We are both still pretty timid around new people (Murts is more of a work in progress than me), but with a bit of love and patience, you will see just what gorgeous quirky characters we are.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We live in a house with numerous other cats, the more the merrier we say! We also live with a little human, we're not worried about him but mainly keep out of his way (though we do like sleeping on his bed). I am still learning claw etiquette however, so might be better suited to children over 7. We haven't met any doggo’s yet, but I can’t see them being a problem to us as long as we have slow introductions.

Likes / Dislikes
We love food, hand feeding us treats with a dinnertime routine will go a long way in building trust. I like having a high place to call my own, the top of a bookshelf is perfect! Murtaugh likes to have a hidey cave to sleep in when he's feeling scared (like under the bookshelf or in the wardrobe), but when he's feeling more confident he likes to join me for a cuddle.

Our PURR-fect home would be together of course, but we understand that might not be possible, we would however love to have another fur friend to play with and people that will understand that we will need some love, time and patience to truly shine.
