About Luna
I am a friendly young lady looking for a family to call my own. I found myself at Lort Smith due to a medical condition. After months of treatment, this is now under control and I'm ready for adoption!
I have Lymphedema and Cellulitis, which can often result in swelling - primarily in my limbs. With a combination of supplements, massages, controlled exercise and acupuncture, my swelling is now under control. With the right management plan, these conditions don’t bother me much and I can live a relatively normal life.
I have been through a lot for such a young pup and its fair to say that my social skills and doggy manners could do with some attention. The good news is that I'm very food motivated so that helps with training.
I have been working on my handler focus as I can get a bit vocal and excited when I see other dogs on walks. I enjoy making new friends but this can be misinterpreted. Right now, a home with no other animals would be best.
I would love for my adopter to provide me with plenty of mental enrichment and ongoing training as I enjoy learning new skills.
