Me (Marley) in a nutshell, according to my foster Mum of course (because apparently it’s not polite to brag).
• I am crate trained of a night (in fact I don’t make a sound, even when I know my humans or dog friends are awake. I just lay there until they’re ready to take me outside to toilet).
• I love my humans and want to please them. In fact I can already sit and drop and am learning to wait for my dinner (which is really hard because I’m ALWAYS starving).
• I’ve started to walk on the lead and must be doing really well because I get lots of treats. (I’m awaiting my final vaccination so I can practise out in the big wide world).
• I would really love a fur friend as I love to play bitey face, tug of war and chasey games.
• One of my foster brothers is a bit of a grouch so I have to be respectful and give him a break from my constant need to play (lucky my other foster brother wants to play as much as I do).
• I love my foster cat, but she has scared me a couple of times by lashing out at me. I don’t understand why she doesn’t like me to follow her around, she’s a cranky one.
• One of my favourite things to do is to snuggle with my humans on the lounge or floor … in fact anywhere is fine with me, so I’d love to be an indoor and outdoor dog.
• I can fetch a toy and bring it back (but I’m not very good at giving it to you … just yet).

Some things my foster Mum says I need to work on or keep in mind (but I don’t understand why … I guess she wants me to grow up to be well behaved like my foster brothers).
• Toilet training when I’m in the house is a work in progress.
• My puppy teeth are very sharp and I still get excited when around humans and still jump. As a result I think I’d be best with older children (10yrs plus) who will work on this with me so that I don’t hurt people when I grow up. I need to be guided to chew the right things but I love a good box or chew toy to gnaw on. With your help I will get better at this.
• I’m a busy girl but with a choice of toys and things to chew on and a playmate to enjoy them with, I’m easily amused.
• I’m a cheeky girl with lots of character but when my Foster Mum rouses at me I get really worried because I don’t like her being cranky with me.

WARNING, I will love you unconditionally and be the best dog ever with your help. Guaranteed laughs galore and cuddles aplenty.
