Maui

Big boy Maui is a playful goofball. He is looking for a fun loving family that wants an active and entertaining new family member.

Maui came to the RSPCA Animal Care Centre after he was injured and needed surgery on his shoulder. His owner realised that they were unable to give Maui the time and care that he needed, and so surrendered him to the vet. The vets were able to stitch up his shoulder and desex him, and after caring for him for a week, he was given the all clear. His shoulder has healed very nicely but he will most likely have a little scar for the rest of his life.

If you are looking for a new best friend with a sunny disposition and happy-go-lucky attitude, then Maui is your man. He likes other dogs and has previously lived with another female companion, but he can be a bit boisterous when playing. We would suggest a home without any cats or small animals and decent fences to keep him safe. He will need further training, but he is very eager to please.
