About Petal & Poppet
Petal and Poppet are two very chilled, very pretty little ladies.
They came into care when they were found as small kittens, and have been enjoying life in their amazing foster home with our carer-extraordinaire, Caitlin, her gorgeous cats Winnie & Tigger, and her rambunctious 7 month-old kelpie x, Biggles. So these girls have had a ball in a vibrant and loving household filled with lots of playtime and cuddles. They are very confident around Biggles and the other cats, and have also hung out with some kids, who they were very comfortable playing with.
If you're considering adopting a single cat, I would urge you to consider a pair of bonded siblings. Two cats is just as easy as one, if anything, easier, as they have each other to play with and they easily amuse themselves. They also have someone to snuggle with and enjoy the company of when they family aren't home.
The girls would make a beautiful addition to a loving family home.
Petal is a domestic shorthair, blue-cream torti. Poppet is a domestic shorthair, blue & white.
NOTE: we have a strict indoor-only policy. We are a clinic who rehomes ethically and we don't believe cats should be roaming animals. Outdoor enclosures and suitable cat-proofed fencing or mesh are a wonderful option.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionists and cat adoption Coordinator.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
