About Bella - Assisted Rehome π
I know, I'm pretty damn cute right! You're hoping that I tick all the boxes....Please read right to the bottom to find out.
I'm a 3.5yr old American Staffy and currently living with my sister Izzy. We've been together since we were puppies. We do get along really well together, but I'm most definately the alpha dog in our home. Unfortunately, my family are moving to a property soon where there is quite alot of livestock in surrounding homes and they feel that this lifestyle would not be suitable for me. I have really only had socialisation with my sister, and will need to be rehomed as an only dog at this stage. This is not negotiable....A home without cats and pocket pets is also highly recommended.
Why should you adopt me? I LOVE my humans and would make a great companion dog for someone working from home or working part time hours. Although I'm currently an outside only dog, I would certainly adapt well to living both inside and outside as part of the family, if you had the time to train me. I enjoy playing with toys, car rides and hanging out with my sister but my favorite thing to do is spend time with my humans. I also have a passion for water, so on a hot summers day, you'll find me soaking in my clam pool!
Although I enjoy my walks, I could definitely do with some more training, especially when we come across another reactive dog (either walking or behind a fence). If they yell out to me, I'll yell right back π I do handle best with a halti in these situations. I'm quite responsive to my name, and will sit before getting my food. Whilst I will let you know if someone is approaching the house, I am by no means, a serial barker..... And don't worry about storms/fireworks.....they don't bother me at all. I do get a little excited when people come to visit and will need reminding that all 4 paws belong on the ground in order to get pats, but again, with some consistent training, I will learn those manners in no time.
Don't stop reading yet....you need to know this. I currently have no separation anxiety, but do also have the companionship of my sister, so this may not always be the case when I'm an only dog. I will need someone home most of the time and be allowed to live both inside and outside. I've never shown any interest in escaping, jumping fences, or digging my way out of the yard, but wilI obviously need secure fencing being your one and only....those who understand the Staffy breed will know why.
So what am I looking for?
First and foremost, I need someone who understands the Staffy breed, had experience training large dogs, and committed to a lifetime of loving me.
A home with no kids or older kids (10yrs +) would be better suited due to my size, strength and limited exposure to children. I'm almost 40kg π
I really do need to be your one and only, so please understand that if youβre looking for a βcompanionβ for your existing dog, Iβm not the one for you unfortunately. I would not be suited for off leash dog parks/beaches. I would be perfect for someone who works from home, retired, or working part time hours. I'm looking for a person/family who will love me unconditionally.
If you understand the Staffy breed and can provide Bella with the perfect home, please send us through an enquiry. She is currently located in Kanwal on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous girl. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, you will receive an auto reply from Pet Rescue (check spam/junk folders) which will include the link to our Adoption Questionnaire. Once this has been completed, your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
