True to their name-sakes, Kath and kim are a delightful and entertaining pair! They have been my entertainment for several weeks now as they became familiar with their surroundings and began to feel safe. Life was not so carefree in their early years. They were abandoned at the back of a hardware shop and fortunately were discovered and bought into care.
Being so young they had to be bottle-fed and cared for until they were able to be independent. Both kittens are now litter trained and are eating quality kitten food. Kath and Kim have been routinely treated for fleas and worms. They had a visit to the vet who found them to be healthy and gave them their first vaccination and microchipped them. To my surprise they didn’t make a sound, perhaps because the vet nurses gave them so many awws!
Kath and Kim are looking for a loving family who will make them feel safe in their home. They would need a secure cat enclosure if they were to spend time outdoors but they love spending all their time indoors with their people.
Since they are still so tiny, it would be best that children are respectful and are at least 8 years old. These sisters have lived in a home where there are also 7 cat-friendly dogs resident and have had supervised free play with them. Of course any introductions to new family member would have to be done slowly. Should you become Kath and Kim's new family, you would be rewarded with two fun loving affectionate sisters who would grow dearer as the years go by.
Kath and Kim are available for adoption to an indoor-only home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast Area only and their adoption fee is $450 for both. If you would like further information, please contact catsandkittensdrn@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Kath and Kim are available to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area only, as they will have to be de-sexed at one of our local vets by the time they are 4 months old.
Kath and Kim are in foster care in Abermain, NSW and are vaccinated and microchipped but will need desexing at a local Newcastle vet when they are big enough, which will be covered by Dog Rescue Newcastle.
