Patches

Patches was found on a farm with her sister Pickle. They were brought into the Devonport Animal Care Centre when they were about 6 weeks old, so they were placed into foster care. They have spent time living in a loving home, learning how to behave like lovely little house cats.

All kittens need to be kept safe, as they can climb too high, or jump from too great a height until they get it worked out, so care must be taken to supervise kittens in new situations. They also need to be taught to play appropriately - that means not laying claws and teeth on human hands or feet - so interactive toys such as ''wand'' style are best.
