About Edward
Hi,
My name is Edward but my foster mum and foster kitty Grandma call my Teddy for short.
I am around 2 years old and am a gorgeous tabby boy with a magnificent tail.
I had a hard start to life and will need a family who can help me gain confidence as I am still quite shy around people I don't know. But once I get to know you, I just love to chill out on the sofa with you or snuggle. I love pats and playing with my toys. I love other kitties and would love to have a cat friend in my new home who will play with me and help me with my confidence.
I am desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with my flea and worming treatments. I am a good boy with using my litter box too. Now a word from my foster mum....
Edward is a beautiful, affectionate and gentle boy who is likely to have never lived in a house and who arrived in care scared of people. He has achieved so much since arriving - he has gone from hissing and backing himself into a corner to avoid a pat, to absolutely loving pats and smooches. He has never bitten or scratched his foster mum but will hide under the sofa when people come to visit. He has two little foster sister kittens whom he adores and would do well with another cat friendly cat to play with and learn from. Edward may never be a really sociable boy but he has come so far in foster care that I hope his special person is out there who can take him to the next level and help him come out of his shell even further as well as giving him the two things he has likely never had - love and a fur-ever home (inside only).
Edward is located at Greenslopes and is waiting patiently for the right person to come along. If you think you might be his special person, please come and meet him.
