About Shoogs
Introducing the most loyal and affectionate gentle giant… Shoogs!
Shoogs absolutely loves a game of tug-of-war followed by a big snooze, with his head on your lap of course.
He is fairly small for his breed, although still definitely not a small boy, and has the most unique colouring; sometimes silver, sometimes gold, he is a one of a kind sought after gentleman. Do not let his size fool you, he is a big baby who suckles his toys to sleep.
Shoogs is a house trained couch potato. He knows simple commands such as sit, drop and shake.
Despite being almost bench height, Shoogs is very respectful and keeps his four paws on the ground but does give everything a good sniff! He is even so polite he will wait for permission to start his dinner and to come inside.
He has not dug up the garden of his foster home or chewed any furniture. He is also not vocal in responding to the dogs next door barking, he much prefers to just go about his day lounging on the couch.
Shoogs is looking for a home with parents who have larger dog breed experience as he is an incredibly strong boy who struggles to know his own size.
He is still learning how to behave around other dogs due to how big he is but could live with a medium - large dog given the right temperament, however has responded well to cats in the past.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
