Bruno

Not only does Bruno have big warm chocolate eyes, but his heart matches them perfectly. He is such a warm, cuddly and loving dog. Often he forgets that he is of a bigger size and will hop up on the couch or bed and lay with his body on yours.

Bruno loves to be around people and is always excited to see his foster family when they come home - he will sometimes sit up on his back legs and put his paws on you (very softly) and give you a hug.

Sometimes when new people enter the home, Bruno may be a little timid and needs to be reassured that this new person is okay. A bit of encouragement like 'good boy' and a pat when he walks up to greet new people is helpful for him.

Coming from a community where food may not have always been routinely given, Bruno tends to be a bit cheeky and tries to source food off of kitchen tables and in bins. This is something that needs to be worked on but hopefully after establishing a daily feeding routine, he will be reassured that he will be fed and will no longer need to fend for himself.

Bruno is a very easy going guy with no urgency or rush about him; he would prefer a casual walk rather than a long run. He often likes to just stop and sniff the air, or maybe the roses. This may also be due to being quite timid and in time he may become a bit more confident and active. Being on a lead is still new to him, so he would love someone who can walk at his pace and grow with him as he becomes more confident of the world.

Bruno loves to relax and have a snooze. If he ever goes missing you can be assured it's just to find a comfy spot hidden behind the couch.

Bruno has so much love to give and is looking for the perfect person or family to give it to. He will forever be by your side, with his head rested on your lap.
