Come and Meet Tex

Tex is a sensational dog. He is a big strong sook and he just loves attention.

Tex will enjoy a walk, and would be happiest in a home where he can have regular but not necessary intense exercise. Though if you like taking long walks or jogging he will easily go the distance, He does walk very nicely on the lead!

Tex is highly intelligent and will make someone a clever and capable companion. His sole aim is to please and he is looking for some-one to adore. He would like nothing better than to be hanging around his new family.

UPDATE***
Tex was adopted on prior to Christmas– but there were circumstances (disability in the family) that we hoped would have been able to cope with a dog like Tex. But despite being adored by the family as a whole through no fault of his own Tex has been regretfully returned.

Here is what the family had to say about Tex for the 2 weeks that he was in their care:

“He would love a young family with children that he can run and play with. Such a wonderful companion dog, just wants to be next to somebody and have pats. He is such a happy and relaxed dog, so friendly - we had many visitors over the past weekend and everybody loved him, each taking a turn as he put his head in their lap. We are all very sad to send him back and I’m more than happy to keep him here until you find another owner, he’s loving being spoiled and the air conditioning these hot days, sleeps upstairs with us, no problems at all”
