About Pumpernickel
You must complete an online application form at https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html and the carer will contact you if you're suitable
Pumpernickle is a handsome 5 years old greyhound. He is a very cuddly large breed dog and suit small backyard.
Pumpernickle is an ex-racer who prefers being a pet, he is children friendly (is tested). He loves his pats and cuddles, loves being near his human. He also loves his food and treats, currently dry food only.
He is full of curiosity and love to explore. He would love his new family to introduce everything slowly as he is quite nervous of most things and loud noises. He loves his walk, he is a bit strong on the leash as he is quite curious with his surrounding. At the moment he is getting 2 x 30 mins walk a day. He is toilet/house trained. He also sleep through the night.
He will make a fabulous addition to his forever family! He MUST go to a home where he is allowed inside to spend time with his family and has a warm, safe bed indoor aswell.
He would love to have another calm big dog or another grey to be around with. But he can also be an only dog. No small dogs or cat or other small animals or young children as he gets excited sometimes and would like a quiet home.
Summary:
- Prefer to have another grey or big calm dog to show him how to be a pet but can also be the only dog
- No small dog or cat or other small animals
- Would like a calm home with kids over 8+
- Not suitable to apartment living
- No full time workers
- Requires someone home more often, than not
