Hi Everyone. I am Sammy and I am a newbie that has just come into care with Silver Lining Pet Rescue.
Though this rescue / foster care is a whole new world for me I have settled in right away. Expert level I would say.
You would say I am a “ people person” and I am happiest lying on your chest pouring my little heart out. I will spend as much time as you let me cuddling up, and when you walk into the room I will run to you in delight.
My silly foster Mum thought I would like a bed on ground level curled up with my foster brothers. Not for me, no. If you are in the “big bed “ that’s where I am. I am only tiny but nothing is going to keep me away from you, not even my equivalent to Mt Everest, a big high bed. I climb right up there so I can be with you.
Am I litter trained already. ? Am I what ! I totally amazed that foster Mum of mine when I climbed down off the big bed and went to the litter box then climbed straight back into bed. I don’t mean to brag but I think I am setting the bar very high for all the other fosters. After seeing how I use the litter box the other tiny babies are using the litter box too. What did I say about setting that bar high.
I take everything in my stride even when I met my big big foster dog brother ( see pictures) . I just walked right up to him and introduced myself. I’m all for making new friends . I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like.
I am not available for adoption yet as I have to have my vet work done, but my foster Mum says who ever does adopt me will have the most beautiful kitty ever so you had better be quick to get in touch with Silver Lining before someone snaps me up real quick.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
