About Shelby and Koda
Shelby. 7yrs old in MAR 2021. Female, American Staffy. Desexed, microchipped, Council registered. Tan/white.
Weight - 30.5kg
Shelby has a beautiful nature, she adores humans and just wants to be close to you. She will nudge her head under your hand for a pat. She is good around children of all ages. Loves to have the rope toy thrown for her to chase and loves go for a walk but does pull on the lead until she's worn herself out.
Shelby sleeps inside on a trampoline stretcher bed with a comfy dog bed on top. She loves to curl up with her fur sister Koda to sleep. During the day Shelby likes to be in/outside, loves to lay in the sun and sun-bake and again likes to lay on a trampoline stretcher outside with protection from the sun/rain. Shelby prefers to be laying on something rather then a ditect hard surface, even it is a towel.
When Shelbys human parents are home, she likes to be inside with them getting lots of pats, attention and lay down next to your feet.
She can be left secure in the yard if you are out and shes happy to be by herself and won't try to escape.
Shelby can show aggression towards other dogs when out on the lead going for a walk. Shely has lived with her fur sister Koda for the last 3 years and get along very good.
She currently lives with a cat and has no problems with him at all. Loves to have a sniff and that's about it.
Shelby has recently been diagnosed with mild arthritis in her back legs which doesn't upset her too much. Supplements are being used with meals to assist with joint movement and relief. She still has plenty of spring in her step!
Would love for Koda and Shelby to be adopted together if possible. $600 for both
