About Mason ~ 10wk Old Mastiff X(on trial 15/1/21)
Meet Mason a 10 weeks mastiff x. He is the Biggest sook you'll ever meet. He will definitely need another dog for company. He is a cheeky boy and loves to play games.
We will grow up to be a large dog and will need to attend puppy training classes and continued obedience training due to our size and breed. If you can not commit to this, please do not apply.
We are at the puppy stage where we are biting a lot and chewing things so we need consistency in our training. We will also need a family that understand we will need exercise and mental stimulation or we will get bored and become destructive. You wouldn't expect a toddler to be left alone without getting into mischief
Before applying , please consider:
-Have you thought about loving and caring for this family member for the next 12-15 years ?
- they won’t be a tiny puppy for long and will get up to mischief as they become a " teenagers" Are you ready for that? Are you REALLY ready for that?
-Have you thought about the extra puppy meals throughout the day?
-Will somebody be home more often than not to keep me socialised and stimulated?
- This puppy will most likely be a large adult so do you have solid and tall fencing (5-6 foot) to keep me safe? * no rural or wire fences
- won’t suit an apartment , courtyards or a small yard. *Please do not ask*
-Have you thought about ongoing physical training and mental stimulation (enrichment games) so that they don't get bored and destructive?
-Will they have access to inside to ensure that they remain a part of your family?
They are watching and learning from you from the moment they open their eyes. Being inside means that they will learn what leads to praise and reward and what doesn't. Being under supervision also means they learn boundaries (crucial as they grow older) and means they are less likely to develop nuisance behaviours due to boredom.
