Makine

Makine is a beautiful and outgoing puppy. She has a sassy personality with a really sweet and lovely side as well. Makine loves people and enjoys getting cuddles and attention from everyone that she meets. She also enjoys exploring the yard and new places – poking her nose into anything. Play and adventuring is followed by happy napping on her back with her tongue poking out. Makine is going to grow up into a real head turner as she is developing a really pretty and unique colouring in her coat.

Makine has been in foster care with one of her siblings and a young adult dog and has met some other friendly dogs. She loves to play with her doggy friends, playing bitey face and rumbling. Makine would thrive in a home with another friendly and playful dog. It is expected to grow to be a larger medium sized dog (around 20-25kg at a guess) and have moderate to higher activity levels. Makine will require a substantial daily walk and ongoing positive socialisation with other dogs to ensure she grows up a happy and social individual.

As a working breed mix, this girl is smart and intelligent and has been learning the basics while in foster care. She has mastered sit and is working on shake and stay now. Makine worked out how to use the doggy door and is progressing well with her toilet training. However, like any young pup, Makine will require significant further training. Puppy school is a good start but she will require further general obedience classes to ensure she reaches her full potential and becomes a good canine citizen. Training is also a good source of mental stimulation for her which should be taken into account by her new family.

We are looking for an experienced home where Makine will be a part of the family and included in the day to day activities. She requires a home with another friendly and playful dog (over a year old) and/or where someone is home most of the time to keep her company. Makine should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. She is young enough to learn to live harmoniously with other pets with the appropriate introductions and guidance. Makine is suitable for older more dog savvy children who can participate in her training.
