About Lule
Lule is as sweet as she looks. This beautiful girl loves to be in her person’s company and is known to sleep by her foster carers feet when they are working from home. Lule is a gentle soul when she meets new people and is more on the timid side, but once she has a minute to get used to newbies she becomes their friend very quickly. Lule can be fairly independent and is happy to explore new places and take herself off to bed when she is ready for a nap.
During her time in foster care, Lule has been in care with one of her siblings. She enjoys playing with him, though he can get a little rough for her liking. Just like any young puppy, Lule will require ongoing positive socialisation with other dogs to ensure she grows up a happy and social dog. She is expected to be a larger medium sized dog (around 18-25kg at a guess) and will be of moderate to high energy. When fully grown, Lule will require a substantial daily walk or play with doggie friends to meet her needs.
Lule likes her treats and has begun her basic training while in foster care. She has been learning sit, paw and drop, as well as crate training and starting her toilet training. As a working breed mix, it is very important that her new family are committed to continuing her training as she still has a lot to learn. Puppy school will be a good start but she will require further training beyond this such as general obedience classes to ensure she becomes a good canine citizen. Training and other mentally stimulating activities will be an important part of her life and her new family will need to consciously integrate this into her daily life.
We are looking for an experienced home for Lule where she will be part of the family and included in the day to day activities. She will require a home with another friendly dog and/or where someone is home most of the time to give her companionship. Lule should be allowed to come inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is young enough to learn to live with other pets with the right guidance and introductions. It is expected that Lule could live with older children who are able to participate in her training and learning.
If you think that you can give this sweet girl the home she deserves then you are welcome to apply by completing a Dog Adoption Enquiry Form on the Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
