Honey

Honey came to the RSPCA Animal Care Centre as a pregnant single mother. She was quite close to giving birth and one of the vet nurses at Forth Valley vet offered to foster her and take care of Honey and the Kittens until they were ready to be rehomed.

Honey eventually gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens, three boys and a girl. She was a wonderful mother and her babies were happy and healthy. On one of her trips back to the Animal Care Centre for vaccinations, a tiny 400g kitten was brought in on its own. Without a mum, the survival rate for a kitten that size is very slim. We took a chance with Honey, and introduced the new kitten. She did not miss a beat, drawing him in and gently cleaning and feeding him. Honey has a kind, nurturing soul and she deserves a family that will treat her with the same love and affection.
