About Poppy
forever home 🏠
She is a sassy, spirited pug who likes to sit at your feet and will climb into your lap for a cuddle when given the chance. While in foster care she has been living with other pugs and older children, but as she has displayed some resource guarding around food, she will need to be rehomed with older children or teens who will respect her space..
She loves to snooze on her bed, and potter around following her humans.
Poppy does have some age related hearing loss, that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life, however she will need understanding and patience from her new family to help her settle in.
Poppy has recently undergone a hip operation and her vet work is completed. She will require ongoing medication for mobility/walking/exercise comfort.
A similar aged puggy companion would be ideal, however she would be just as happy to have her humans to herself but would need a family who is home more often than not.
Poppy could also go to the same family as her living mate Princess.
If you think your family may be suit Poppy and have been considering adoption as an option please complete an application on the PUGS SOS website.
