About Alice
Alice of the Outback Litter is a female kelpie/blue cattle dog puppy, born on 12 November 2020.
Her mum is a blue cattle dog x kelpie, while her dad is kelpie through and through, so there's no surprises that this cute little girl is mostly black and tan with a tiny bit of white. We've included photos of mum and dad in this profile.
Kelpies and cattle dogs can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They have exceptionally high IQs and may get into mischief if left to their own devices. They require plenty of exercise, and will become bored if stuck in a backyard for lengthy periods without stimulation or company. They are renowned for their trustworthiness and reliability. They are not barkers by nature.
The secret to bringing the best out in a working dog is to keep her occupied and well loved. Her greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while her greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.
To be happy and content, Alice will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise and play. Secure fencing is a must.
Her adoption fee is $850 and she will be desexed and microchipped in late January. At the same time, she'll have her second vaccination.
If you are interested in meeting Alice and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Preference will be given to homes where:
