About Trotsky
Trotsky is very smart, playful and loyal, but distrusts boisterous children. He gets on well with cats and dogs, but has been bitten by a dog before so is a little anxious if barking aggressive dogs rush him (he cowers and tries to get away).
Very affectionate loves exercise and food.
He does suffer from separation anxiety and will bark if left alone so someone retired or super active would be ideal. He will also bark at electrical noises like blenders. He knows come, sit and shake commands, and drop when he feels like it. He walks on a lead but likes to take his time at every tree.
He is very friendly and wants to be his owner’s shadow but doesn’t like crowds or loud people. He doesn’t like being patted by strangers and will growl or nip the air to give warning and is not fond of vets.
Buddy will warm to people who give him space. He is a genius at getting to food so put the dog food up high!
