About Ranger ~ 9mo Husky X (adopted 13/1/21)
Ranger! The gorgeous little guy ready to steal your heart with love and affection. Ranger is a 9month old Husky who loves a cuddle. He is happiest by your side (or on your lap) but also doesn't mind laying around in a sunny spot in your garden.
Although shy at first this little guy doesn't take too long to warm up and is incredible with kids. He loves a walk and would do well with one or two a day. As he is young and quite an independent breed, Ranger will need ongoing training as he is reactive to his surrounds. He is toilet trained and has been working hard learning how to sit, do the down and walk on the lead. He is keen to please the ones he loves.
Ranger would love a big yard to play in and is very dog friendly. He doesn't show any signs of trying to escape but will need to be stimulated either with another dog to play with or plenty of toys. He would also like to spend lots of time inside cuddling with you.
Unfortunately Ranger is extremely scared of men (is great however with his foster mums teenage son). He would ideally suit a single active female or a woman with kids at home. This isn't to say he couldn't warm up to the right man but it will take time, patience and a very gentle hand.
Like all huskys, Ranger likes to chat and can get quite vocal. He sometimes needs reminding of when it is appropriate to chat and when it isn't but he is learning.
Ranger is a special little guy that gives way more than he asks for in return. He is loving, easy going, happy, energetic and smiles when he looks at you. If you are interested in adopting Ranger please contact Kate on kate_griffiths@outlook.com. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://form.jotform.co/82217742684866
Ranger is currently in foster care in the Maitland area, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. Ranger's adoption fee is $400. He is vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, treated for fleas and worms and lifetime registered.
