Juno ~ 9wk Mastiff X (On Trial 08/01/2021)

It is impossible to resist these eyes! Juno is a stunning 9 week old female Mastiff X who would cuddle and play with you all day. She is an active young lady whose favourite spot is wherever you are. She gets along well with her foster brother and sister but would be quite happy as an only dog if there was someone with her most of the time.

She has met a cat and is interested and gentle. Juno has discovered her voice and lets you know when she is looking for you. Juno loves to be near you and will try to climb onto your lap the moment she sees you. One of her favourite games is to run away with toys and have you chase her. Like all puppies at this age she does chew, but she is very easily redirected to toys. She is a very smart young lady and has learnt to sit for her food or a treat. Juno will follow another dog through a doggy door but is a little uncertain about it. She is just starting to understand toilet training.

Juno knows her own mind and will need a family who can resist her beautiful pleading eyes and reinforce positive behaviour so that she understands what is expected of her. She would prefer to be an inside dog but is happy to play outside if she is with her people.
Although she was one of the smallest of a very large litter, Juno will grow to be a medium to large dog. She definitely has the cute factor now, but you need to be able to provide her with an active, stimulating life in the long term as she grows and goes through her doggy stages. You will need to be prepared to be consistent with her training and provide her with activities both inside and outside the home as she is a very intelligent pup and could become destructive if bored or left alone for long periods.

As she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas as she will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. She is NOT available for long distance or interstate adoption.

She is currently living in Maitland NSW. Her adoption fee is $600 which covers desexing, vaccination, microchipping, flea and worming treatments.
