About Serena - Located in Northcote
Stunningly beautiful and good-natured young girl who only wants to spend time with you. Serena is a confident and affectionate girl who loves her humans and likes to spend her days quietly looking out the window. She likes to chase her ball in the evening, before coming to watch TV with you.
Serena has the most beautiful green eyes that can do magic to your heart; her coat has brushstrokes in the colors of the autumn in countless shades. Just like most people, she indulged a little too much during the holidays and needs to lose some weight (she is also quiet and not too active). If you have a spot on your sofa for Serena, come and meet her to experience her good vibe and sweetness. She doesn’t mind dogs; she would prefer to be the only cat in the house.
Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.

Medical notes
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care. No health issues unless listed below.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion have a long and happy life together.
If you should find that you are not a purrfect match - or if you need to rehome your cat at any stage of its life - Maneki Neko Cat Rescue will take the cat back into care and find a new home.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions.
Although all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of a new environment can upset their immune system.
