ABOUT NAMI

Nami is a lovable and playful girl.
Rescued from the pound with no name and an injured back leg (fractured toes and ligament damage in her knee). That couldn't slow her running around the house though, jumping on the couch, or wrestling her mastiff foster sister. Her foot and knee are healing, and she is naturally using it more each day.
Despite her rough start at life, she is always cheerful and eager to connect.
Loves a game with her young human friends and dogs alike. She finds the cat intriguing, though a hiss sees her retreating.
While she gets a little sad to see her humans leave, within minutes she chills out.
Still a pup, so she can get caught up in the game and struggle to listen to instructions. She is learning to sit for her pats, even if her bottom wiggles the whole time.
If the neighbours are barking, the excitement is overwhelming, Nami can't help but join, but it's doubtful you'd catch her instigating.
Loves to find everything and anything to chew. However, respects when things are taken away, and will happily opt for a stick in the yard.
Would benefit from formal training, and loves to make her people happy.
This lovely and resilient girl deserves a loving and energetic home where she can really settle and grow.

MEDICAL NOTES

Nami came into care with a previous, healed injury. Unfortunately it appears she never received treatment for trauma caused to her hind leg, and has ligament damage to her knee and fractured toes. These have healed however the limp and weight bearing is still present due to healing unassisted.
