Hi everyone, my name is Rai and I am a 12-year-old male kelpie who is an ex-worker. I am super sweet natured who loves every human and dog I meet!

I am a happy gentleman who gets on well with other dogs, children and chickens…but I am not going to make bones about my bones! I have had a full vet check and I am in pretty good shape for my age but my back legs are tired and so because of this I will need some TLC down the track. Saying all that, don't think that I am slowing down!! I love going for car rides, chasing the ball, going for walks and pretty much doing whatever my humans have planned! I also love going for a swim and would love a home where I can go out adventuring and exploring but also have a chance to lay in the sun while my humans potter about.

I know my basic manners and I am a polite boy. I am house trained and sleep quietly through the night...well I do snore a little bit. I am very good boy off lead and have great recall. My foster mum has walked me on lead and I happily trot along beside her.

I am excited to find my forever home but my foster mum says it needs to be very special. I need a family who understand the mental stimulation and physical needs of my breed and are committed to possible future medical care. I would love a home that will include me in their daily lives, but I would prefer a home with older human children or young ones who only visit at times.
