About Ranger
🖤 RANGER NEEDS SOME REAL LOVIN' 🖤
Foster care needed, or foster with the view of adoption.
Meet Ranger, the first of our colony cats to be listed for adoption. But! This isn't any ordinary adoption. Whilst Ranger has had his vet care done, he is still needing to be kept separate from other pets until he has finished his quarantine period on the 11th of January. Ranger is being treated for a minor eye infection which has shown dramatic improvement in the few days that he has been in care. This requires one drop of medication in each eye three times daily for a few more days. Ranger has been very calm whilst in care and is able to be handled. He feels safe when he is picked up in a blanket and cuddled, and will allow his foster kids to gently pat him on the head and quietly speak to him.
Ranger is very fond of roast chicken and sardines so this is definitely the way to his heart! Although he does love to have someone sit and talk to him, and even purred whilst getting a chin scratch. Ranger has so much potential to be a lovely member of the family in no time.
Ranger is suited to a home with older, quieter kids that will understand his struggles before he was rescued and will approach him in a calm and gentle way. We are unsure if he has met dogs before, but feel that his timid nature would benefit from only having very relaxed and quiet dogs in his home.
Name: Ranger MC00375

Ranger’s adoption fee* is $160 and includes Sterilisation, Microchip, Vaccination, Health Check and he has also been treated for parasites. Ranger was also tested for FIV and FeLV, and those results were negative (yay for Ranger!)

Medical Note: Maui was exposed to cat flu, a common respiratory disease in cats. The virus attacks the respiratory tract and eyes. Maui showed mild signs and was treated, and has since been cleared by a vet. He may or may not be a carrier of the virus. Other cats within his living space should be up to date with vaccines.
Our cats and kittens thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue animal ✨
