I’m Jet and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Rides in the car
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction
• Chickens may be ok if they are contained in an enclosure/coop
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• I like both friendly male and female dogs but I'm not overly playful with them, so I'd be just as happy being an only dog

• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Although I have previously lived with children it's recommended no young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to my rough play

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Happy to hang out with other dogs but not very interactive with them
• Very playful
• I can sit and shake hands
• Wiggle butt
• I love toys
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead at times but other times I walk nicely (it depends on where I want to go) – training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone in the backyard. Leaving me some enrichment toys/treats may help this
• I appear to be quiet vocal at times when left alone - a family who has a lot of time for me, allow me indoors and leave me with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET JET BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
