About Oscar the Purrmachine
Oscar was adopted as a kitten 7 years ago when he was found living in someone’s wall, and found a lovely, quiet home with an older couple who have unfortunately now gone into care. He's a gorgeous ginger lad who is a big purr machine when he gets pats and attention!
He can be a bit nervous to begin with in a new environment but once he settles in he is very friendly. He loves a brush, and of course adores food like all gingers!
Oscar is fine with kids if they are quiet and patient but would best suit older children or adults. He has been a solo cat so would love a home where he can be the man of the house and enjoy all the hooman attention, but would adapt to another cat or friendly dog as long asthey're gentle <3
Medical notes
Oscar is the picture of health for his 7 years!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to our cats being rescued from struggling to survive on the street, we have a strict NO CATS OUTDOORS policy. This is because although our cats have been rehabilitated from their past, their brain still retains fear towards 'outside', as living wild was only ever a scary experience for them, they are not the same as domestic cats who've grown up in human homes since kittenhood and have no reason to fear the outside world. Please consider this before making an enquiry. Thankyou <3

About Sunny Days:
Sunny Days Rescue & Rehab is a registered charity, foster care network and private shelter, focusing on the rescue, rehab and rehoming of ‘true stray’ cats - cats who've never had experience with humans or a human home.
The overall objective of our organisation is to:
💕 successfully physically and psychologically rehabilitate terrified cats and find them homes which understand their needs and are compassionate to their history,
💕 remove complete stray cat colonies from the community and ensure they will never breed again or be back on the street again,
💕 provide an example of the potential to rehab unsocialised cats to other organisations who may not have understood or attempted to achieve that potential before,
💕 educate the community on how many stray cats are hiding in the dark corners of community trying to survive and that desexing is the only way to begin to lessen these numbers and the resulting suffering,
💕 provide an opportunity for volunteers to learn animal husbandry and handling skills to a high level which may help them in their future work in animal welfare and as pet owners,
💕 and provide an opportunity for compassionate people to come together and pool their skills for the betterment of a demographic of animal that is mostly ignored and misunderstood despite us humans being their source and the reason they even exist.
Please support us in our important work by clicking the pink DONATE button on this page. Thankyou! 💕
