Meet special girl Tahnee, shes all ears!
This little angel has been through so much coming to SAFE from a community where she was extremely underweight and timid. We instantly knew she had been through so much watching her nature and luckily for her, that all changed with her being forever safe. Tahnee is currently in care with foster puppies, older dogs of all sizes and cats of which she gets along with all beautifully, she is super social. She is really well socialised and loves to have a furry friend to spend her days not liking to be left on her own so would suit a home with a friend or someone home often. A furry friend also helps with her confidence and instantly helping her open up. She loves to play with the other dogs barking and running around the backyard and chasing her toys. Tahnee will do anything for food and is quite the little piggy making training a breeze as she is very clever and eager to learn and please her humans. Being a Kelpie X working breed girl, she is expected to grow to be on the smaller size of Medium (give or take a little) and is needing a family willing to exercise and train as she needs time and effort as her energy levels are high. If you are sitting, so is Tahnee - on your lap and she will do anything to be by your side, she is very loyal. Tahnee's new family need to be patient and be able to give her time to adjust as she will be scared in a new home. She is shy to begin with when meeting new people as she licks and has her tail between her legs however that changes as soon as she received pats and treats (her favourite). With the right family who is willing to give her positive reinforcement and training, she will blossom and become even more confident than she already has. She is a gentle, sweet and lovely natured pup who adores all she meets. Tahnee has so much love to give the right home, could this be with you?
