Sarge is a sweet, affectionate, sensitive boy who can be worried in new environments and with new people so go slowly and allow him to approach in his own time and do not force any new interactions. He would love to be allowed indoors to be part of the family. Sarge can be anxious when first left on his own so would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not who can work on leaving him for short periods only at first and building up to longer periods. He would be happy to have a safe place of his own (bed, mat, crate) to go to when he feels worried or overwhelmed. Sarge will enjoy going on long walks where he is allowed to take his time and smell the surroundings. Sarge can be tense and worried around other dogs if they are barking and will react back however he may share his new home with a calm social female doggy friend. They will need to meet at time of adoption. Whilst Sarge adjusts to new his new lifestyle he needs a home with adults only.
