Notorious

I’m Notorious and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as I am a shy boy who needs time to come out of my shell
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who’ll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• A doggie companion is a MUST to keep me company when my family isn’t home, I suffer from separation anxiety which results in being vocal and possible destructive behaviour

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock
• Small children as they may scare me

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• I can sit, shake hands
• Gentle & placid
• I love toys
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I have had some basic obedience training.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization
• I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone so I will need another doggy to keep me company to stop me from becoming destructive .
• I appear to be quiet vocal at times when left alone - a family who has a lot of time for me, allow me indoors and leave me with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended.

Medical issues:
• My little pink nose gets sunburnt so I will require doggy sunscreen on sunny days

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE SHELTER TO MEET NOTORIOUS IN PERSON.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET NOTORIOUS BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
