I’m Zeus and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I prefer female dogs
• NO CATS
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• I am a clever, young and active doggo – I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• A doggie companion is a MUST to keep me company when my family isn’t home or a family that is home all the time. I suffer from separation anxiety.

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock
• Small children due to being bouncy

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Very playful
• I can sit, shake
• Wiggle butt
• I love toys
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog. I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I am shy at first in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization
• I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone in the backyard. Leaving me some enrichment toys may help this or having a doggie friend to keep me company.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET Zeus BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
