About Bean - Located in Kew
Hi, I’m Bean and I want to be the fun and affectionate addition to your household. I have boundless energy and love to play. I’m pretty good at kicking and chasing balls and have a great pounce. I love to be picked up, however I quickly become a wriggly escape artist. I don’t like to stay still for long because I have places to be, but if you pat me and tickle me under the chin I’ll reward you with some deep purring. When I’m feeling tired I love to snooze in your lap. I really enjoy company and will let you know when I’m lonely. I would be best suited to a family with another feline friend or a human home most of the time as otherwise I get anxious and vocal. I have beautiful soft black fur, with white socks, face and chest. I'll make your home a much more fun place to be.
Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.

Medical notes
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care. No health issues unless listed below.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion have a long and happy life together.
If you should find that you are not a purrfect match - or if you need to rehome your cat at any stage of its life - Maneki Neko Cat Rescue will take the cat back into care and find a new home.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions.
Although all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of a new environment can upset their immune system.
