About Ding
Ding's owner died and his wife has moved into an apartment so could not take with her. At first Ding was afraid of everything and everybody, now she is the house yard with a number of other dogs and sleeps in a crate at night in the house. She loves being with people and is still a bit shy of some dogs. She is naturally submissive to bigger dogs. She gets sick of pups vying for her constant attention. She is a lovely affectionate companion dog, who really would not like to be left at home alone for long periods during the day. She would make a good companion dog.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
