Hi,

My name is Cami!

I love to be around my people and am looking for a family who will take things slow when getting to know me and be willing to work on building a positive and trusting relationship.

I would also need my home to have no children so that I don't feel overwhelmed when touched and so that I have the best chance to settle into my new routine in a calm and quiet environment.

I have been enjoying lots of office time with the shelter staff and I have been practicing my cues such as sit, look and touch. I settle quickly and I also love going for rides in the car. I spent a lot of time outside in my previous home but I now love to be inside with my family so I would need my new home to have access to indoors and outdoors.

I have been on group walks with other dogs at the shelter and I walk nicely on lead, but some dogs annoy me when they get too close to my face so I would prefer it if I didn't go to the dog park and you took me on quiet on lead walks instead. for this reason, I will also have to be your only dog.
