About Araba
Araba is an absolutely gorgeous puppy. She is very social and enjoys meeting new people and getting attention from everyone. Araba is quite the confident puppy and loves to explore. She enjoys finding cracks and crevices to poke her head in and things to play under but she’s getting to big to fit under the couch now! Araba enjoys having nap times cuddled up on the couch with you when play time is over.
While in care, Araba has been living with one of her siblings and a range of other dogs who are all different sizes. She gets along with them all and enjoys playing just like any puppy. Although she is a confident puppy, she will require ongoing socialisation just like any puppy to ensure that she continues to be confident and happy meeting new doggy friends and people out and about in the big wide world. It is expected that Araba will grow to be a larger medium sized dog (around 18-25kg at a guess) and will have substantial physical stimulation needs. This means that she will require a significant daily walk and play time to keep her happy and healthy.
Araba is learning some of the basics while in foster care such as sit, waiting for her dinner and toileting outside. She will require a family who are strongly committed to her ongoing training. Puppy school is a good start, but she will require training beyond this and would benefit from engaging in obedience classes. Further training will provide her with the mental stimulation she requires and give her appropriate jobs to do instead of finding her own things to do like typical naughty puppy behaviours.
We are looking for an experienced home for Araba where she will be included as part of the family and taken out and about on adventures. She will require a home with someone home most of the time for companionship and/or where there is another friendly and playful doggy companion. Araba should be allowed inside with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Araba is suitable to live with older more dog savvy children (over 12) who can be consistent with her training. She is young enough to live harmoniously with other types of pets with the proper introductions and guidance.
If you are interested in making Araba a part of your family then please complete a Dog Adoption enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
