Darling little FREYA is a six month-old female Shih Tzu x Foxy, looking for a safe and loving forever home.

Freya was surrendered to us because her former owner, who loved her dearly, developed a persistent and severe allergic response to Freya's coat.

This charming little dog has all the makings of a perfect canine companion. She has a very sweet temperament and is happy, perky and affectionate, once she gets to know you. However, like all puppies, she can get into mischief if bored or left alone for extended periods.

Having lived a privileged life in her first home where she was the centre of attention, had the run of the house, was allowed to sleep with her humans and cuddles were available on demand, we are looking for something similar for her forever home. And being just a puppy, her new family will need to provide her with plenty of mental stimulation and appropriate exercise. Secure fencing is essential.

Although Freya thrives on human company, she has not been socialised with children, as far as we know. She is dog-friendly, but would prefer a canine pal about her own size. She is also cat-friendly, as you can see from the photo.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior toy breed experience, are at home most of the time, and do not have young children.

Her adoption fee is $895 and she is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
