Meet Billie!

Billie is a sweet, affectionate, charming boy with a heart full of love and a very clear idea of what he wants out of life: sunshine, birds to watch, aggressive bum pats, and you. He’s the kind of cat who will happily snuggle up close, soak up your company, and make you feel like the centre of his universe.

Billie adores basking in sunny spots and could spend hours bird-watching like it’s his full-time job. He’s affectionate, people-focused, and thrives on human companionship — especially if it comes with enthusiastic pats in all the right places (his butt).

He doesn’t love sharing his space with other cats. Billie lived with other cats for around five years, and his family has tried everything — holistic approaches, behavioural support, and medication — to help him feel comfortable. He is deeply loved, but it’s become clear that continuing in a multi-cat household isn’t fair to him or the other cats. He deserves a home where he can feel relaxed and secure without the stress of feline housemates.

Because Billie values his personal boundaries, he would be best suited with a single person or a couple with no other pets and no plans for other pets. He is definitely not suitable for a home with babies, toddlers or young children under the age of 13. Due to being surrendered after defending himself from young children who did not respect his boundaries at his first home, he needs a calm environment with people who understand and respect feline body language.

Billie is around 7 years old, in the pink of health, and ready for a peaceful, cat-free home where he can finally settle in and be his happiest self. If you’re looking for a devoted, sun-loving companion with a lot of affection to give, Billie could be your perfect match.
