* Physically able to control a strong dog
* Can help Mumsie realise and develop her potential

Mumsie is a cuddly but exuberant and strong lass seeking a family that can see what a wonderful companion she can be. Mumsie essentially ignores the cats and is good with other dogs but really loves her humans most.

Learning what is acceptable is still new to Mumsie, she doesn’t yet heel and pulls on the lead so a strong and capable owner is who she is looking for. She is extremely food oriented, her passion in life is to get you to refill her food bowl. She is jumpy and can even get mildly mouthy. She will not be homed to a house with children and it breaks my heart to say that. She would only knock them over repeatedly and it wouldn't work out for anyone.

Now if you’re still reading I will tell you all the wonderful stuff about her.
She has a huge amount of potential. She needs structured training. This is a really important part of forming a positive relationship between owner and dog. She needs repetition and patience and love.
She has the most loving kind eyes, she speaks to you with them. She adores a cuddle.
She is cat friendly; she basically ignores them.
She is fine with other dogs but prefers a human, she really loves people. She doesn’t mind hanging out on her own. She has a favourite toy she throws around and catches.
Mumsie knows she must sit for her food. She knows the word leave and understands it except at dinner time. She knows down, up, inside outside and good girl. We have found when she is overly excited if you put your hand on her she calms instantaneously, most times she flops down and rolls over for a belly rub.
She is also toilet trained.

This girl has the potential to be an amazing dog. If you have time to devote to her training and you can see her in your life for the next ten+ years please fill out the SODR adoption interest application and write as much information as you can.
