ABOUT:
Gemma or “gem” as we call her came into care with her mum and siblings. They are all very scared of people so not the best start to their lives sadly.
Now that they are safe, fed and have toys and a comfy place to sleep they are slowly learning people aren’t so bad.
With time and patience Gem and siblings will make amazing family members.
Gem is the only girl of her litter but doesn’t let that worry her when they play.
Gem still hides but when you put your hand out she will allow pats and just stays still.
We can put her in our lap and she will just stay there and get pats. Given time and patience I believe she will become a snuggler but I don’t want to promise anything.
Due to her rough start we believe she will be best with older children as loud/sudden noises send her into hiding. So a quiet and calm environment would be best for her.
She likes to play on the scratch pole but is still learning about toys. She loves playing with her brothers and snuggling up to them for nap time.
