About Jax ~ 9yr Old Lab x(Adopted FF 16/01/21))
Jax is 9 year old Labrador Retriever X. This gentleman is looking for a quiet household to spend his retirement. He is a gentle loving soul who is very happy and content just being part of a family.
His foster family have been working a lot from home and he just loves to spend his days laying under the desk at your feet, the same goes if you are having coffee at a café. Though he does love food and will sometimes try and guilt other tables into giving him a treat with his big dark sad puppy eyes. Jax came from a home with no other dogs and it took some time to teach him to play, fortunately he is currently living with two other dogs, in particular a young active Jack Russel who he now loves to have a rough and tumble with.
Jax will lay down so that he and his little mate can play at the same level. He loves
to go for a stroll around the block, though he can be strong and pull on the lead if he decides he needs to go a different way. He does have some minor health conditions, mainly his skin, but with regular medicated bathing and a high-quality diet his skin is coming along very nicely, he can also be a bit unstable on his back legs so a house with young children is not recommended. He is looking for a home that is committed to a regular brushing routine as he likes to leave his golden fibres of love everywhere.
Jax is currently living in Singleton. If you think you are the perfect family for Jax, please contact his carer Darlene for more details email stepbowpet@hotmail.com
Jax's adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has been treated for fleas and worms. You can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
