About Koala Bear
KOALA BEAR
I'm not sure that's a good name for a dog so they call me Koah for short - my foster mum calls me Braveheart as well hoping I will learn to live up to the name.
As I think I have some Chihuahua in me I'm naturally shy and can take a while to warm up to people. I'm not a huge fan of loud noises and often need lots of reassurance and cuddles during storms (we have too many of them in the Kimberley). I'm also overwhelmed by very young children as they seem to want to make a lot of noise.
But in the right home I will flourish - I have oodles of love and cuddles to give and absolutely love snuggling under the doona. I've even been known to hitch a ride in a handbag - yep it's not just for the celebs you know, I love a nice secure spot like a handbag.
I am a smart boy who can be bribed with food treats (humans call it training), almost there with the toilet training as well. Like me a good snuggle toy or two for when the humans aren't around, they both work and I'm okay by myself.
I'm looking for a loving and calm home where I will feel safe and loved and if I could be the centre of attention then even better.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
