About Usher
Meet Usher, this stunning 3 year old boy is on the look out for a special place to call home. He is a shy boy and takes a little while to get to know you, he will growl at other dogs if they get in his face. Usher's confidence is growing and he is now able to and loves running with his foster siblings out on the grass. He still needs someone who is willing to put some time in and help him gain more confidence. Usher will go far with further guidance and training, he loves his treats and will do anything for one. He is good around other dogs once introduced correctly, has been good with the inside cats (likes to round up the outside one) he has been good with around a 2 year old (supervised) and loves people attention once he knows you. Getting better walking on a lead and is happy to be crated inside or just to sleep on the couch if allowed. If you have the time, patients and TLC this fella needs please put in an application in.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
