About Frosty
Frosty is a warm, affectionate and playful, nearly three year old boy looking for his forever home! He is a super lovely boy who is the perfect combination of easy going with a playful, puppy side!
Frosty prides himself on being a ‘helper hound’, following you from room to room just to make sure you’re okay. Frosty is always the perfect host and will greet you at the door with his tail wagging in circles.
Some of Frosty’s talents include charming people with his dreamy eyes, making toys out of everyday household objects and positioning his ears into all sorts of crazy positions!
Frosty’s foster family describe him as a super love bug and will cherish the memories of him helping them to wake up by nuzzling them with his cold nose!
As he's a younger hound, Frosty will require a good routine and ongoing training. Frosty’s new family will need to continue his training and socialisation. He has been in foster care with two other greyhounds (male and female) and loves playing with them.
Frosty would happiest with another greyhound. He could be a solo dog, but only where his people are home more often than not.

Adoption details
STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:
Click 'Enquire about this pet' to contact us or email us at adoptions@greytgreys.org to express interest in the hound that you are looking at. We'll send you an EOI form, this must be returned before proceeding.
If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a more suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $350.00 and must be paid on on the day of the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
