Louie

This 8-10 year old Kelpie / working dog mix was found roaming on the streets of Broome. He was so scared they had to carry him out of the pound.

He is just a lovely happy boy who needs to lose a few pounds. Louie is quite small and after a few kilos off would weigh about 14 kilos.

He is good with other dogs and I am looking for someone loving and affectionate.

Louie is a bit stiff in the back legs and is on cartrophen shots. He needs help to get in and out of cars. 15 minutes walk a day would suit him.

Scared of roads, he will lie down and refuse to cross. He has a scar on his back and we think he may have been hit by a car in the past. It may be possible to train this out of him.

Very friendly, affectionate, happy boy. Not a barker. Loves people and rewards cuddles and tummy rubs with a lovely smile and a little lick. Whoever gets him will be very lucky.

Doesn't pull on lead, good in the home and has a good appetite. Enjoys a bone.
