*THIS IS A PRE-ADOPTION. AUGUST STILL HAS A FEW MORE WEEKS REMAINING IN FOSTER CARE*
Meet August.
August is a funny little fellow. He was rescued alongside his three brothers from the front garden of a residence in the West. Due to no human interaction for the first 5.5 weeks of his life, August is still learning to fully give into trusting humans.
His progress since arriving into care has been fantastic but he is still a very shy little dude. Anything to sudden or loud will spook him and he will run and hide. But, a few seconds later he will re-emerge and continue to explore. August has all of the potential to become an affectionate and loving cat but until then, he needs to go at his own pace.
August needs to be adopted into a home who are okay with him taking his time to come out of his shell fully. He needs to be in a home without children and dogs (as these will definitely spook him!) A nice, quiet home would be perfect for August. We would love for August to be adopted with one of his brothers or at least to a home with another feline or felines as he seeks comfort in them.
Over the last week he has begun to love receiving belly rubs and has even began to purr! It's only a matter of time before he becomes a full-fledged lap cat!
We will only be accepting applications from those who have read August's profile and understand the sort of home and social work he needs.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
-submit your adoption application via our website for the cat or kitten of interest
-our admin team will then read through your application to determine if you would be a good match for the cat or kitten and vice versa
-if we believe you could be a good match, you will be contacted by the foster carer for a phone interview
-following the success of the phone interview, the foster carer will then invite you for a meet and greet with the cat or kitten
