Marshall and Mavis are two adorable bonded kittens who know what it means to do life tough. This brother and sister had a very rough start to life, and are in genuine need of a stable and loving home.

This pair came to us from a hoarder home in Noble Park and they were both sick and miserable. Each had cat flu and ringworm. Marshall also had an infected eye that needed immediate vet care.

These poor kittens had been on a terrible diet, and were so still and quiet that we knew they needed lots of work to get them back on track.

Fast forward to today and you almost wouldn’t recognise this pair now. Marshall and Mavis are playful, funny, sweet - and healthy! They adore pats and cuddles, and love to sleep on your bed at night.

The trauma of their very early days in the hoarder house has brought these two so close together that we cannot separate them. They are each other’s everything. Where Mavis is smart and cuddly Marshall is funny and kooky. They both have lovely temperaments and are sweet and gentle-natured.

These two are also quite active, and will run, chase and wrestle each other for ages before curling up to kitten nap together. If one leaves the room, the other generally follows or will call out for their sibling.

They do have some lingering discolouration of their white fur that will disappear over time. And their whiskers are still growing back. Marshall and Mavis will grow into their looks, and we don't expect they will grow to be very big cats. They are more long and lean in shape and are small for their age.

This pair has been cleared of ringworm and have fully recovered from their cat flu and Marshall's infection, however we do not recommend they go to a home with young children (teens or young adults would be fine). They would also need to be the only pets in the home.

As Marshall and Mavis came to us during COVID-19 restrictions, they have not had a lot of interaction with people. This makes them very wary of new people, as they are used to being in a single-person home.

Having said that, Marshall and Mavis do bond deeply with those they trust, and they are so very grateful for all the love and affection you can shower on them. This pair needs a home where they will have stability for the rest of their days as they have already been through so much.

Marshall and Mavis would be great for a couple wanting to adopt a pair or for a single person looking for a lifetime of fun, wonderful company. These two are purr-fect at sitting and falling asleep while you watch movies or read!

These kittens like to be near you and they are certainly not fussy about their food, which makes meal times very easy. We do, however, recommend a high-quality diet in their new home so that they continue to stay in the good condition they are in now.
