Chilli

Hi! I'm Chilli and I'm one of the Lab x Doberman pups that are currently in care with the awesome foster parents from Helping Hearts Animal Rescue. I am super lucky to have my bro, Chocolate in care with me too.

My foster mum & dad's place is so awesome and we are having a stack of fun. Our furry foster brother, Charlie, is soooo big but he lets us clean his ears and chew his tail so that's kinda cool!

We have a pretty big backyard that has no sneaky ways for us to get out - trust us, we've looked - so it's important that our furever home has good fencing too. We love running around the grass and under our big bro's legs, cause he is kinda old and we can run circles around him!

I REALLY love to use my chompers and think rope and rubber toys are the BEST. I happily chew on these by myself, but really like it when my bro, Chocolate, plays tug of war with me! I am not so keen on the squeaky toys though - like, where does that weird noise come from?

Once I've used allll my energy, I really love having a nap and usually it's right next to my bro, Choccy. He's a good snuggler. I really love to stretch out, especially as it's so hot, and so laying underneath the coffee table is a spot I choose often. When it's not so hot outside, I fall asleep right on my mama's lap. She gives the best head and chin scratches.

I am starting to learn what 'sit' means and if there's liver treats involved I try realllly hard but sometimes it's all too much and I just want to bounce! I know I'm pretty smart though, so I'd love to go to puppy school and show off how much I can learn.

Our foster brother Charlie gets to go outside for walks and car adventures which I think sounds SO cool, and I know after some puppy school lessons and practice, I'd be awesome out in the big wide world! I promise I will do my best to be an obedient girl and listen to my furever family!

I would love to live in a house where I can be outside and inside. I wouldn't be happy outside all the time because I love being with my peeps. I am still getting the hang of going to the toilet outside only, but with help I just know I can do it! I am only young after all.

Because I have soooo much energy and I have grown up with lots of company, I’d prefer a house with another friendly doggo or parents that are home a lot. I wouldn’t be able to go outside by myself when you’re at work every day. I’d be too lonely.

When it comes to food, I am prettty keen. I am a really good sharer though and my bro Chocolate and foster bro Charlie eat with me. We sometimes even share bowls cause I'm nice like that.

If you have a Chilli shaped hole in your heart or family, I'd LOVE to meet you and become part of your family. I promise to give you all of the lovely licks and puppy smooches. You know that puppy smell they talk about? Yeah, I have that... Just sayin'!
